After ten years serving Colombia, Spirit Airlines has announced the addition of its fifth destination in the country.
Beginning December 20, 2018, Spirit Airlines will connect Alfonso Bonilla Aragón International Airport to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport with a daily nonstop service. The connection will also provide a gateway to dozens of other Spirit destinations in the United States.
The city of Cali and the Valle de Cauca Department region serves as home to more than three million people, and will mark Spirit’s 68th service station in its growing network. Cali joins the Colombian cities of Cartagena, Bogotá, Medellín, and Armenia currently served by the airline. Cali will be Spirit’s 17th destination in Latin America and 28th destination outside the continental United States.
