Infants and children under 12 years of age can enjoy special infant and child fares. Adults accompanying infants or children should be of 16 years of age or over.

Infants (under 2 years of age)

Infants, who are not yet 6 months of age at the time of travel must sit on the lap of the accompanying adult. Only one infant is allowed to sit on the lap of each adult. Infants above 6 and under 24 months of age may travel on adults’ lap if they hold a ticket purchased at infant fare, or may alternatively travel in a separate seat if thy hold a ticket purchased at a 2-12 year old child fare.

If your baby turns 24 months of age after outward journey but before the return journey, you must purchase a separate child fare ticket for the return journey, or you may alternatively buy a child fare ticket for the entire journey.

It is not recommended to travel with newly born babies of only few weeks of age.

Children (between 2 and 12 years of age)

Children above 2 and under 12 years of age must travel in a separate seat.

Unaccompanied minors

Passengers who are 12 years of age or over are considered adults and can travel alone.

Children between 5 and 12 years of age traveling alone are considered as unaccompanied minors and should be escorted by us. Unaccompanied minors should travel on adult fare tickets and a service fee of EUR40 will apply to each sector of their air travel.

Upon request unaccompanied minor services can be provided to children of up to 16 years of age.

Please arrive at the airport at least three hours before the flight departure time to complete the necessary formalities for the travel of your unaccompanied minor.

Unaccompanied minors are escorted through immigration and customs and boarded on the flight. After the flight, they are escorted through immigration and customs and released only to the adult identified in the relevant documents.

Meal

Child meals are available upon request. Please make sure such request is made at the time of booking.

Documents

Infants and children should travel with their own international passports. Please have a spare photocopy of passport of the infants and children traveling with you to present them to check-in staff at the airport.

If an infant or child is traveling with only one of the parents or neither of the parents, the accompanying adult passenger will be requested to produce a notarized written consent of the parents.
